General flower care

1. In order to make your flowers last as long as possible, please follow the simple set of instructions listed below.
2. Fill a clean vase with fresh cold water and the correct amount of flower food.
3. Cut stem ends under water at an angle with a sharp knife.
4. Remove all leaves which will be below water level.
5. Check the water level daily and replace with fresh water and flower food if necessary.
6. Do not place flowers in a draught or near any heat source or ripening fruit. These will reduce the vase life of the flowers. Keep them away from harsh sunlight and heat-producing appliances

Most of our flowers will then last about one week.

NB: If roses should start to wilt at head, re-cut stems and plunge stem ends to depth of 3cm into boiling water for several minutes before returning to vase of deep cold water.

Flower arrangements care

Arrangements in green (Oasis) foam are easy to look after, however they will not last quite as long as cut flowers in water. Oasis foam arrangements are kept in a water-retaining foam, and upon receiving the arrangement you should gently pour clean water into the centre or back of the design. Wait until the water is absorbed by the foam and then add some more water. Keep doing this until the arrangement will take no more water.

General plant care

Many plants only require a water top-up every three or four days, some will appreciate a regular spray as well, although some plants such as the cyclamen may rot if their leaves are watered. you'll get specific instructions on each plant.

How we treat your flowers

Step 1

If you order is not  same day delivery. you can be sure that  you'll get the freshest flowers in Beijing. Our staff JangJang  is going to wholesale market 5 AM every morning, he will get the freshest for the day's delivery.

When we receive you order for same day delivery. Our florist Wenwen or Xiaohong start to pick the freshest flowers from our flower stand. We only pick the freshest ,very often  we buy some from the other stands in the market if we don't have enough the freshest ones. There is more than 10 flower stands here in Liangma flower market.) Normally we get good quality and good price from the other stands. Every of our staff  knows that it is very important to get the freshest as we promised you. 

Step 2

We begin to treat different flowers differently.

We cut stems in the water with a angle to prevent air bubble  in the stem ,it will enable the flower to take the water better.

For some flowers like roses. we plunge stem ends to a depth of 3cm into boiling water for several minutes before returning to cold water.

For some flowers we burn the stem ends to sterilize the cut.

For some flowers we smash the stem ends to enable it take more water.

Step 3

After all the flowers been properly treated, we'll wrap them nicely with decorative cellophane and matching paper.

Last but not least, we'll wrap some water with floral preservative  at the button of you flowers.

Your flowers will arrive you or your friend with our driver Mr. Wang 's car securely and freshly.

A personal message card, (if you like) care instructions and  a bottle of floral preservative  are also included.
